It is written in September, before any 2026 sale has been announced, and it will not invent a deal to fill the gap. When the 2026 Black Friday and Cyber Monday offers go live, the confirmed deals will be posted here, on this page, and the live prices below will move with them.

Confirmed home office and ergonomics deals will be posted here when they go live in November 2026. Nothing on this page is a prediction of what any discount will be.
The 2026 dates
Thanksgiving 2026 falls on Thursday, November 26. Black Friday is therefore Friday, November 27, 2026, and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30, 2026. Those are calendar facts. What is not yet known is when Amazon’s own event starts: in 2025, Amazon’s Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday deals ran from November 20 through December 1, a twelve-day window that opened more than a week before the Friday itself. Amazon had not announced 2026 dates when this page was written. If the pattern holds, the useful window is the second half of November rather than a single day, but that is an observation about last year, not a promise about this one.
What has actually gone on sale in this category
We went looking for documented, dated evidence for each class of product this site covers. Where we found it, it is below with the source. Where we did not, we say so further down rather than guess. Percentages here are what was reported for a specific past year; they are not what to expect in 2026.
Premium task chairs: yes, and the discount has been the same every time
Herman Miller ran a 25 percent sitewide sale for Black Friday 2024, covering every configuration of the Aeron, and ran the same 25 percent sale again for Black Friday 2025, from November 14 through December 2. Steelcase took up to 25 percent off sitewide, with free shipping, for Black Friday 2024. So the two brands behind the chairs at the top of our ergonomic chair rankings both have a record of a November sale. The detail worth knowing is that Herman Miller’s November number has not been special: when we checked Herman Miller’s own store on September 12, 2026, it was running a “Fall Sale: 25% off” — the same figure as its last two Black Fridays. If you buy direct from Herman Miller, waiting for November has historically bought you the same discount, not a deeper one. On Amazon, the chair listings this site tracks are sold at their own prices, which is why the live figure below is the number to compare against, not a manufacturer’s list price.
Standing desks: yes, from the manufacturers
FlexiSpot, whose E6 Pro leads our standing desk roundup, cut its E7 frame to $329 from $499 for Black Friday 2024 and to $289 from $499.99 for Black Friday 2025, both on its own store. Two consecutive years of a frame-only price under $350 is the clearest pattern in this whole category, and it argues for waiting if a FlexiSpot desk is on your list and you can live with your current desk until December. Note that those were manufacturer-store prices; the Amazon listings for the same frames move independently, and the live number below is what Amazon is charging today.
Monitors: yes, broadly and deeply
Monitors are the class where the November discounts have been the largest and most widespread. PCWorld’s Cyber Monday 2025 list, checked on December 1, 2025, carried a Dell 27-inch QHD USB-C monitor at $199.98 (18 percent off at Amazon), a Samsung 34-inch ultrawide at $209.99 (40 percent off at Amazon) and an LG 34-inch OLED ultrawide at $899.99 (36 percent off at Amazon). Panels are the purchase that most rewards patience, and the class where a “was” price most needs checking, because list prices on monitors are routinely inflated the rest of the year. Peripherals: yes, and deepest on last-generation models
Logitech’s MX Master 3S went to $69 at Lenovo with an early Black Friday code in November 2025, against a $109.99 list price, and the reporting made the reason plain: it had just been replaced by the MX Master 4. That is the general rule for keyboards and mice. The model that was flagship last year discounts hardest the November after its successor lands. Keychron, the brand behind our office and programming keyboard picks, ran up to 40 percent off for Black Friday 2025 on its own store. If the mouse or keyboard you want has a newer sibling, the older one is the deal candidate.
Monitor light bars: yes, from BenQ directly
BenQ’s own Black Friday page for 2024 lists 20 percent off the ScreenBar Halo and LaptopBar and 10 percent off the ScreenBar and ScreenBar Pro, running November 21 through December 2, 2024, with website members getting access from November 15, and a year-end sale following from December 3 to January 2. That is a manufacturer stating its own past promotion, which is the best kind of evidence this page has. It is why the light bar at the top of our rankings sits in the “wait if you can” column.
Thunderbolt docks: yes, and the CalDigit TS4 has been included
AppleInsider’s Black Friday 2025 dock roundup, published November 26, 2025, listed the CalDigit TS4 at a $303.99 Prime member price on Amazon, a 32 percent markdown against the $449.95 list it quoted. The TS4 is the reference product in our Thunderbolt dock ranking and it is one of the few things on this site where a November purchase has a documented, product-specific precedent rather than a category-wide one.
What we could not find evidence for
Honesty cuts both ways. We searched the 2024 and 2025 Black Friday coverage for a documented Amazon price cut on the Ergotron LX monitor arm, the arm our arm-versus-stand comparison recommends, and did not find one. The Ergotron deals we did find were retailer-run promotions on Lenovo’s store, and those pages have since been taken down, so we cannot cite them. The absence of evidence is not proof that the LX never discounts; it is a reason not to plan around it. Our guidance for it, and for anything else with no documented November pattern, is to treat the live price as the price and buy when you need the part.
The other group where waiting rarely pays is the cheap stuff. Even a large percentage off a $10 pack of cable ties, a $25 desk mat or a $30 monitor arm is a few dollars. If a low-cost part would fix a problem you have today, two months of a sore neck to save the price of a coffee is a bad trade. Buy those now; save the waiting for the three-figure purchases.
Buy now or wait for November, class by class
This is the guidance the evidence above supports. “Wait” means the class has a documented pattern of November discounts and the purchase is large enough for the saving to matter. “Buy when needed” means either we found no pattern, or the item is cheap enough that a delay costs you more in daily use than it could save.

How to tell a real deal from a dressed-up one
Three checks, and they take a minute. First, compare the sale price with the price on this page today, because our live number is a real, dated Amazon price rather than a manufacturer list price, and a “40 percent off” that lands above what the product costs in September is not a discount. Second, look at the price history. Free trackers such as camelcamelcamel and Keepa show what an Amazon listing has actually sold for over the past year, and a genuine Black Friday price sits below that line, not on it. Third, check the seller and the variant: sale prices on monitors and chairs are often tied to one color or one configuration, and a refurbished or third-party listing can carry the headline price while the new-from-Amazon listing does not. None of this is cynicism. Most of the deals documented above were real. The point is to make sure the one you click is.

They are here for a reason that has nothing to do with deals: they are what we would buy at full price, which is the only honest starting point for judging a discount. The “best for” column carries our buy-now-or-wait guidance for that product’s class, and the scores are the same ones the product earned on its own category page. When a confirmed 2026 deal lands on any of them, it will be noted here.
How this page will change in November
Three things happen when the sales go live. The deal status box at the top switches from “no deals live” to a dated list of confirmed offers on the products this site ranks, each one checked against the live price and the price history before it is posted. The live prices in the table update on the daily refresh as they always do, so a real Amazon discount shows up in the button without anyone typing it in. And any pick whose sale price fails the checks above — a headline percentage against an inflated list, a price tied to a refurbished listing — is left off rather than listed with a caveat. If an item you are watching is not on the list in November, that is the reason.
If you are buying a gift rather than upgrading
The November window overlaps with gift season, and the two decisions are different. A gift has to fit a body and a desk you have not measured, which is why our gift guides lead with the items that carry no sizing risk. If you are buying for someone else, start with the under-$50, under-$150 or no-budget gift guides, or the recipient pages for remote workers, programmers and someone whose desk hurts.
